You can ask us to delete everything CleverMarketer holds about you, at any time and without giving a reason. This page says how to ask, what gets deleted, and how long it takes. It is the deletion route referred to in section 8 of our Privacy Policy.
1. How to ask
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with "Delete my data" in the subject. If you are writing from a different address, tell us which account you mean so we can be sure it is yours before we delete anything.
We will confirm in writing when it is done. We answer within 30 days, and normally within a few working days.
2. Removing CleverMarketer from Facebook or Instagram
You can also cut our access from Meta's side, without writing to us. On Facebook, go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find CleverMarketer and remove it. That revokes the permissions you granted, so we can no longer publish on your behalf or read anything from the account.
On the same screen Facebook offers a Send Request button, which notifies us that you want your data deleted. We act on those requests the same way we act on an email. If you want written confirmation, or you want your CleverMarketer account removed as well, email us too — removing the app stops our access but does not by itself erase what we already hold.
3. What gets deleted

4. What we have to keep
Invoicing and accounting records, for 7 years, because Belgian tax law requires it. That is the only category we keep after a deletion request, and we keep nothing from it beyond what the law asks for.
We cannot delete the posts themselves once they are published on Facebook or Instagram — they belong to your account on those platforms, not to us. Delete them there.
5. Your other rights
Under the GDPR you can also ask us to show you your data, correct it, restrict what we do with it, or send it to you in a portable form. The same address handles all of these: [email protected]. If you are unhappy with our answer you may complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority at gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
